Day 4 - an unexpected day off!

It's been a very stormy night and morning here in Pamporovo with a lot of fresh snow. Unfortunately the high winds have caused a few trees to fall and block the roads and it's not currently safe to use the chairlifts so there will be no skiing today.

So now we're having a relaxing morning in the hotel - some are having a snooze, teachers are drinking coffee, others playing cards or just having a chat.  Hopefully our lovely bus driver will be taking us to our favourite restaurant for lunch if the road is cleared soon and we might even get to do some bumboarding. We'll update you later on!
Update! So we did get to have our lunch down at the slopes and now we're back at the hotel enjoying an extra-long swim before dinner.  Bumboarding has been cancelled because of the freezing wind (it feels like -18°C outside!) so we're going back to do some Crazy Bowling after dinner.  Fingers crossed that we'll be back on the slopes tomorrow!

At last night's quiz we had two teams tied for first place so we had to have a tie-break question.  What is the combined age of all the teachers? Geri's team was only one year out and so became our quiz champions! Any parents want to take a guess as to what the correct answer is?!

    Have a nice relaxing day chloe and it’s a real shame you all can’t go skiing and Charlie says you will enjoy the bum boarding as it’s great fun. Stay safe and hope Jaden is feeling a little better today. Xx

    Wow minus 18 you won't be complaining of the cold when you get home Sounds a nice chilled out day full of rest. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. My guess of the teachers ages are 132 🤐 see you in 3 days xxx

    my guess is 110.. hope you all enjoy the break and are rested and ready for a day on the slopes tomorrow..have fun at bowling tonight.. i thought here was cold i shouldnt be complaining then... missing you loads harvey house is very quiet without you xxx

    Pity about the poor weather. Hopefully you'll all be back skiing tomorrow. Going by the photos there is no shortage of food or snow. You'll be a little bit heavier when you get home Connor after all that food. UB. PS I guess the combined age of the teachers as 501.

    Pity that you couldn't ski today but I'm sure you all had fun anyway and took sometime to recharge your batteries. Well Katie your sister is missing you loads. She is constantly listening to your fav song (rockstar). She also has uni sleeping in the bed with her every night lol. The house is way too quiet without you here.     Firstly thank you for the Dungoyne hat picture I loved it! Gutted about the weather today for you all but according to the weather I looked at for tomorrow, it’s bright sunny and not so cold. So fingers crossed you all get back on the slopes tomorrow. Can see your living on pizza every lunch time Finlay! Was going to remind you to get showered but I’m sure the swim your having every day is yours and most of the boys daily wash 🙈 We’re still all missing you except Ella but I know she secretly is.     Shame yous didn’t get very far today hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. There’s to be more snow tomorrow back in Belfast doesn’t look as nice as Pamporovo but maybe all the mummy will have a go down the school hill.     Awk disappointing that you didn't get up on the slopes today but safety first - certainly doesn't seem to of affectting the mood - smiles all round - hopefully things will have calmed down a bit and you will get back to the slopes tomorrow - Roan, Dillon has taken over your Xbox but he is back to work tomorrow 😉 Enjoy your last few days, love mum and dad xx

    Well everyone is certainly in great spirits if that’s ugh they missed out on skiing today but I’m of their sure they were delighted to get to spend so their money instead lol. You look so so happy Scott I just wish you would change that tshirt as I’m sure it is stinking lol. Hopefully your weather is better tomorrow and more skiing is done to all you wonderful kids. Just 3 more sleeps til your home yeh ha.
